“Migu, baby..” Jazmine’s eyes widened horrifically when she realized that Miguel hadn’t been to her room this whole afternoon. She didn’t wait for a second longer as she threw open the door and ran out of the place to look for her son.
She sprinted towards Sarah’s room and pushed open the door only to find it empty. She checked every room in the vicinity but Miguel was nowhere to be found. With each ticking second, her heart was going into overdrive as her brain kept telling her that something was terribly wrong. Miguel would never leave her side for so long but in her distressed state with all the confusion going around, she had totally forgotten that her little boy had been away for almost the whole of the afternoon.
