“Mama, how many times have I told you that I don’t like Lucy going anywhere near Jazmine?” She scowled at her mother, looking very pissed. “Lucy spends more time with Jazmine than she ever does with me..”
“She wouldn’t want to spend so much time with Jazmine if you had given the poor child at least one percent of the time and care that Jazmine gives her. Lucy is just looking for a motherly figure that she clearly isn’t able to see in you..” Her mother retorted before continuing with her work.
