We arrive at the dinner first and go get a table. We’re there for a couple of minutes before Eli comes in. He walks up and greets everyone. I haven’t seen him for a couple of days, so we chat a little. In the middle of our conversation, I notice Mona sniffing the air and looking around. I recognize that look. Mona’s mate must be near. I stop talking and start looking around the diner. There are not that many people here and they are all spread out.
