“Tell me, how is she adjusting to being here with you all?” Alfonso asks as we both watch the door to the restaurant close.
I sigh and look at him. “It is an adjustment for sure. She is used to doing things on her terms. That won’t change even if she doesn’t know it yet. She pranked us this morning.” I mumble the last part and he roars with laughter and I look at him like he has lost his damn mind.
