“You know she is going to do something about this, right?” I say to Gino, and he nods his head.
“Yeah, I know she will. We need to keep her close. Because when she goes after him, she is going to let her emotions rule her head and that is dangerous.” Gino says to me, and I grunt in acknowledgment.
“She will get herself captured, tortured and killed. What I don’t understand is how nobody noticed something was wrong apart from Candy. Why was Candy out this late, anyway?” I ask because there was a prospect on the gate and he didn’t see anything, which I find strange because that poor woman was found by Candy ten feet from the gate in the treeline.
