Michaela’s POV.
“LILY!” She staggers back clutching her stomach. Candy and I move at the same time to grab her before she falls.
“Lily, Lily!” Slade screams as he tries to move forward when I look up and see my father, the Devils, and my guys as they storm into the room. Tony moves and glares at me as he moves to Lily.
“Baby, it’s ok. Stay calm. I’ve got you, baby girl.” He shoves me aside and I watch him as he works to keep Lily awake. My father looks at me and I see relief in his eyes. But I don’t feel victorious. This is my fault.
I stand up and turn my anger and frustration towards the person who deserves it most. I lift my gun and see Celia turn to run, leaving Slade standing there watching in shock as his little girl is bleeding out.
“This was never meant to happen.” He mumbles
