Over the following weeks, Melissa seemed to be becoming more and more withdrawn, her face was pale and she seemed to be off of her food.
‘Are you sure you are OK?’ Skylar asked for the umpteenth time as Melissa pushed away her tray in the cafeteria, her face taking a green tinge.
‘Yeah, the smell of that is disgusting, it’s making me want to throw up’ the she warrior replied as she pushed back her chair to put distance between herself and the offending macaroni and cheese.
Standing from the table, Alexandra took her and Melissa’s trays, dumping them in the trash as Skylar stood up to join them.
‘We’ll see you boys later, we are heading to class’ Alexandra said as she placed a quick kiss on Jackson’s lips, slapping his hand as he reached around her to pull her closer.
