“Amma!” An agonizing sigh escaped from my lips. I squeezed my eyes close, and opened them with a blink. Yet the sight didn’t clear. It was as vague as it was before with little to no difference. Grumbling incoherent verbs with flavours of loud moaning, I tried to get on my feet one more time, only to lick the dust again. My right ankle was throbbing piercingly. Seemingly, the healed wound had opened again. The soreness was unbearable which was making me see stars in bright luminous lights. Moreover, I felt moisture to the side of my head were waves of pain travelled in a specified interval. It was ugly, painful, and unnerving. And as if it wasn’t enough, everything around the ambience spun, spreading a sense of nausea. My stomach grumbled ready to puke out the delicious lunch I had had
