As I jogged in, the storm clouds gathered, and gusts of wind shooed the smoke walls. With adrenaline pulsating in my veins, I was getting very excited for no apparent reason. Out of nowhere, a throaty chuckle started to echo which soon changed into eerie whistles.
I half turned to take in the notice of a dark and looming silhouette.
From distance, it looked vaguely familiar. However, the pitch darkness of the hole made it a highly difficult task to recognise the stranger who could be a visible threat.
“It will only harm us if he knows we are here. What if, he never knows?” The familiar voice boomed with authority as the shadow crept nearer, using the overpowering darkness of the whirling hole as an advantage.
