The Shikaras was one of the most expensive transports in the city, but it was also the most exciting. When the boat swings back and forth with the hip-hopping waves, wrestling with its ferocity, it kicked the passengers with a right amount of thrill while testing the patience and knowledge of the sailor to navigate through the deadly waves. At other times, when Himantura would be in peace with nature; it would harmonizingly cross the deepest of water, floating along with the rhythm at a steady pace.
