The next morning, I woke to the symphony of seagulls crying and the gentle rustle of the ocean breeze through the open window, carrying the sweet scent of saltwater and morning dew. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a golden glow over everything it touched, like a master painter's brush strokes.
