Was this his room? Did he really ask Adam to bring me here?
At that moment, Adam, Lucius's Beta, explained,"I apologize, Mrs. Watson.It was Alpha Lucius who instructed me to bring you here."
Mrs. Watson? So Adam had known about my relationship with Lucius all along. It seemed Joey's guess was correct. Everything had been orchestrated by Lucius.
"There's a hot spring outside. You can use it if you'd like. If you need anything, just call customer service directly. I'll take my leave now," Adam said politely, preparing to exit the room.
