Margaret wiped her hands on her apron, thinking about my question.
"The Alpha has four family members," she said, setting down a glass of water. "His grandparents are gone. His parents travel a lot. And he has an older sister studying abroad."
"A sister?" I looked up, surprised. "He never mentioned her."
"She's been overseas for years now. Smart like him."
"Does he see his family much?"
Margaret's face tightened slightly. "Not really. The pack house is usually empty. He prefers staying closer to his businesses."
