Summer meant a lot of changes for Hailey and Cleo, they were starting college at Herzing in the fall, and everything was different. Cleo was looking at her future with a brighter look, and Hailey could actually see a future not miserable.
Which were both positives for them.
Even better, it seemed their little family continued to grow. It started with babysitting Kimberly while Sean was working. It was weird for the little girl at first with Cleo joining them. But Kimberly soon enough warmed up to Cleo as if they’d never not been in each other’s lives.
Taking it from there would be Serenity. Another young girl who molded into her sister’s life uncertain if there was room for her. But Cleo embraced Serenity as a family as well, and soon Serenity felt she was.
