Peyton was sitting in her room that night. Listening to the night owls of nature and their prey’s final squeak.   Finishing up the letters she’d written over and over again, she waited and waited. And then the door to her room opened, “Baby.” Turning, Peyton looked at Walter Winslow not even shocked to see him. “Hello, Walter.
