Waking up before my sweet Jade, and finding her clinging to me, even in her sleep, was endearing in its own way. That being said, I needed to hit the training grounds. And for that reason, I had to leave the bed as discreetly as possible.
I somehow managed to do that without waking her up. Tearing myself away from the mate I loved and adored was no easy feat. But duty called. As it always did.
Before long, I was on the first floor, ready to hit the kitchen for breakfast, when someone caught my eyes.
