I watched Tyler train under Alex’s guidance, a soft fond smile on my face. To the side, a heavily pregnant Paulina trained Anna. My best friend refused to allow me to train the little one, claiming I wasn’t meant to teach, too gentle, too caring for that.
Funny considering I was a fierce witch. The irony wasn’t lost on me.
Admittedly as a hybrid, there was much to work on. Healing people was what I preferred, though I still didn’t care to stop when it was needed of me at times.
Thankfully, I hadn’t had much healing to do over the past few years. Peace had come back to our lands, and our pack was prosperous and more than strong enough to fight off rogues.
