There was absolutely nothing quite as blissful as waking up in your mate’s arms. Alex had exhausted himself as of late. Nevertheless, the moment I moved ever so slightly to have a better look at his face, he stirred awake.
“Go back to sleep, love,” he grumbled sleepily, his arms tightening around me ever so slightly.
“It’s 5 am,” I told him in a soft tone of voice. “We have training in one hour.”
“Exactly,” he said petulantly, much like a child denied candy would, “One hour to go still.”
“I wanna have a shower first,” I explained before kissing the corner of his mouth.
“Are you seducing me?” He opened one eye to look at me.
“No, you go back to sleep, Alex,” I told him as I caressed his hair lovingly. “You’ve been having a hectic schedule lately.”
