Chapter 11 KATHLEEN feels very annoyed now because he humiliated her. "Me? A maid!? What the f**k is he talking about!? I'm not his f*****g maid!" she exclaims in annoyance to the void. She then stood up and slightly faced the side mirror of the car to check her appearance. She looked more decent wearing her beautiful branded dress. Her makeup is fine and she doesn't look haggard. But why the hell is Gabrielle looking down at her beauty!? Damn it! That made her more pissed! She kicked the tire of Gabrielle's car in annoyance. "You're bull s**t Gabrielle! Bull s**t!" she reaped. "Are you mad about what happened earlier?" Gabrielle suddenly spoke behind her. She was startled and clutched her chest. She inhaled and exhaled deeply before she faced him. "Open this goddamn car," she ordered it firmly. Gabrielle shakes his head but still obliges to her command. Gabrielle opened the car door and she immediately got inside. Gabrielle also turned around on the other side and immediately got into the driver's seat. Gabrielle then immediately drove the car, heading back home. Kathleen never utters any words and just keeps her mouth shut. Instead, she focused her attention outside of the car. "Are you hurt?" Gabrielle suddenly asked her. Kathleen didn't respond. "Are you that pissed off? I was just joking earlier." Kathleen smirked. "That's not a good joke! What if something bad happened to me? What are you going to say to my Dad!? You're my bodyguard! You're supposed to treat me better! But what you did earlier was unacceptable!" she answered, annoyed. "I know, but as I saw you earlier? You seem to be able to handle it without my help," Gabrielle answered casually and it was not even clear from his voice that he was worried about her. "You're such an asshole!" she exclaims again and rolls down the window of the car. She wanted some fresh air, because anytime, she will be suffocated from Gabrielle's boastful pride. Thankfully, Gabrielle didn't speak anymore, so she didn't say a word either. WHEN they got home, she quickly got out of his car. She immediately entered the house. She even bumps into Susana who was carrying a pot. It looks like she’s about to prepare for their dinner. Kathleen approached Susana and greeted her by taking her hand and placing it on her forehead as a respect for the elderly. "God have mercy on you, ija," said Susana. "It's for you," said Kathleen as she reached for the things she bought earlier for Susana. "Oh, you really bothered yourself by buying me a gift, Kathleen. But thank you for this," said Susana with a strong expression on her face of happiness. "I'm sorry if that's all I could do. Gabrielle doesn't want to give me my credit cards," Kathleen said and smiled rawly. Susana did not respond to what she said. "I'll go to the room first. Excuse me," she said. Susana just nodded at her. After that, she went up to the room and quickly stretched herself out on the bed. She is still feeling pissed. And the most annoying thing is that she has no cigarettes to smoke to vent out her frustrations. Gabrielle forbade her. "Damn it!" She was annoyed at the absence and took a deep breath. Someone suddenly knocked on the door of the room. Kathleen turned her head quickly to face the wall because she knew it was Gabrielle who was interrupting her again. She heard the door creak, signaling its opening. "Are you still mad at me?" Gabrielle didn't move and just stood far away from her. "If you don't talk to me, I won't take you to town again," he threatened her. Her ears perked up when he heard that. She got up quickly. She crossed her arms and raised her left eyebrow at him. "What the hell do you want from me?" she asked fatly. Gabrielle leaned against the door. "Now you’re talking. Do I really need to be preaching to you all the time?" "I'm really easy to talk to, especially if the person I'm talking to is sane. You're not sane," she said with a touch of sarcasm at the end. Kathleen rolled her eyes again. "Try escaping if you want. It won't bother me anyway." She just mimics what he has said. Gabrielle hissed. "You tried to run away earlier, but you failed to do that. Why?" he asked her seriously. "You didn't say that there is a time for the bus trips here," she replied irritably. Gabrielle suddenly laughed at her. "That depends on how many and how few passengers will be boarding. It just happened that many people got off earlier so you missed the next trip." "And so? Are you concerned because I didn't catch the next bus ride?" she asked with a frown. "I'm not. I just find it boring. It's boring to chase after you. I didn't even break a sweat." "Shut up! You really just came and bothered me just to tease me? Really? What an effort is that?" she said, full of sarcasm. "Did I make you irritated that much? If yes, that's good news for me. And may I remind you, come down immediately when I call you later for dinner. I don't want my mother Susana to wait for you," he said and immediately left in front of her. Kathleen took the pillow and it was too late to throw it because Gabrielle was already outside of their room. It just hit the door. She groaned frustratedly! That would have been the chance for her to escape but it hasn't happened yet. Gabrille is making her even more insane now. And he's freaking good at annoying her. Damn him!
