Xander’s POV
I excused myself from Ashely's presence after making sure that she was okay.
“Boss how is she now?.” Jo asked me when I went out of Ashely’s room.
“She is stable. I will be gone for a while, I am leaving her in your care. Guard her with your life!” I instructed Jo.
“Sure Boss!” Jo said. I beacon on Rick to come along with me.
Just at the end of the corridor, I meet Stacy standing there looking like a scared cat.
“Xander I am …” she started to say but I passed her. I seriously don’t want to talk to her right now because I might regret what I would say to her: I have already promised Ashely that I wouldn’t blame or quarrel with Stacy for what happened to her. So the best option for me right now is to avoid having a conversation with Stacy until my fury is over.
