“What do you want from my son? You are not with him just for his money right?”. Xander’s mother asked, still staring at me.
I swallowed hard not knowing what to say.
I was sold by my parents and your son brought me for a million dollars and made me marry him! That is definitely not what a mother will love to hear.
While still thinking of what to say, a lady about my age entered the lounge room.
“Mom seriously? Stop trying to scare her away! This is her first time we are supposed to leave a good impression on her! What happened to being the coolest in-laws?” The lady asked.
“Thanks for ruining my plans. I almost got her!.” Xander’s mom laughed as she rolled her eyes at the lady.
