I pushed past the crowd, feeling the fear of what had just happened clawing at my chest as I tried to reach him.
"Beckett!" I cried out, unable to see what was going on exactly. Even though my ear was off, my mind seemed to be filled with nothing but pure chaos.
That's when I felt a hand grip my arm, stopping me from running down the arena steps. Looking back, I realized it was my dad.
"Calm down sweetie. There's too many people right now. Stay with your mom and I will see what's going on." Dad instructed, making me nod as this sense of hopelessness rose inside of me.
