(Elodie) "Beckett, you can't be serious." I laughed nervously while looking towards him and sitting up in bed. I was honestly so taken aback by what he said, that I thought it had to be some type of joke. Beckett just casually turned away from me before walking to the corner of my room, pulling the desk chair out, and plopping down, like he owned the damn place. "I'm always serious." His mouth formed the words cooly while he leaned back into the chair. The way he was sitting had me staring for a few moments as he looked like some type of bad boy posing for an edgy photoshoot or something.
