It was like watching a car crashing and burning right before my very eyes. The damage of Beckett's words struck right through my chest. Ripping my heart out and killing me right on the spot.
I knew something was weird about all of it. I felt like Beckett was hiding things. Always keeping me at a distance and never opening up to me completely.
After Beckett left with his dad, I felt this nagging urge to follow them.
