So many things were changing so quickly around the castle. Everyday Brooke was out in the training grounds, practicing the spells from the grimoire. She hadn't brought up the search for the second book just yet, but I knew when the time was right, she would want to seek it out. Athena and Xeros were spending more time with us, splitting time between their own shifting bodies and ours, allowing us to combine our strengths as a team of 2 and 4.
