Emma was very rude to me. Why doesn’t she understand that I am doing everything for her safety? She always scolded me and tried to maintain a distance from me. I knew that she was afraid of the disease, but I told her that I had the highest immunity. If she was stubborn so was I. I had decided to stay near the doorstep so that if she needed me she would call me. It was not a huge house so I could hear what the people inside were saying to each other. There were two people with the illness, and they needed to be treated. Emma was asking Sir Barren to take them to the castle immediately.
