Third Person's POV
Seraphina looked at him in surprise. "Don't you have your own office?"
Unlike Seraphina, Caldwell was a specially appointed associate professor at Shadowfang Academy. Before he arrived, the school had already arranged a private office for him.
Caldwell placed his lesson plans on the desk and sighed. "When you're alone all day, even the air feels still. It's a little too quiet."
His gaze fell on Seraphina. "You don't welcome me?"
Of course, Seraphina didn't mind. Although the office was shared by three professors, it was spacious enough that one more person wouldn't make much difference.
The other two professors usually spent most of their time in the lab or working on their research projects, so they rarely stayed in the office.
"You're welcome to stay."
