Seraphina was a bit surprised. This morning, when Vivian had tearfully pleaded over the phone, guilt-tripping him with her "life-saving favor," Mortimer had told her to come find him at the Craig Group's headquarters.
So he'd summoned that rogue over just to personally inform her that her entire family was about to be destroyed?
If so, it was undeniably cruel.
