Third Person's POV Mortimer had followed her out. He was right behind her, his presence a heavy, agitated weight in the cold morning air. Seraphina stopped and turned to face him. "Something else?" Mortimer's jaw was a hard, tight line—his universal tell for frustration. "Are you 100% sure Rolf's crash was Vivian's doing?" Seraphina didn't blink. "I'm not." In her head, she was at about 90%. But she wasn't giving him that satisfaction. She didn't have the paper trail yet, and she wasn't going to speculate for his benefit. Mortimer's brow hit a deep, angry knot.
