Hearing Rolf actually speak up for Seraphina, Vivian was instantly furious.
"Rolf, have you fallen for that b***h Seraphina too? She's trying to send our mother to prison, and you're actually taking her side?!" Vivian shrieked, her shrill voice echoing in the hospital room.
Rolf barely had the energy to deal with her. He waved a weak hand and laughed bitterly. "When you treated me like an enemy and cut off my medication, did you remember I was your brother then?"
That single sentence choked Vivian immediately.
