Charlotte raised her kukri knife and looked around to see if there were any signs of lurkers or gangsters. She quickly motioned for the two to follow her. It was afternoon, but some parts of the city were already in darkness because of the buildings and houses that collapsed.
"Lurker at your 2," Charlotte commanded, before stabbing the lurker who had entered the alleyway.
Lucas killed the lurker and went back to the group. They continued to walk and stopped at a small bookstore. Mira inspected every nook and cranny of the store before sitting down on the ground. She removed her bonnet and drank the water.
"Did you see any suspicious lurkers?" Charlotte asks as she checks the map she brought.
"None," the two answered. Lucas sat next to Mira and handed her a biscuit to quench her hunger.
