Leaving Skylar did not feel like a good idea at all. Her sweet scent was still all over me, and I wanted nothing more than to grab her and take her back to bed, enjoying our mate bond to the fullest. Maybe it was for the best that she still had a few lectures on Sunday since she was here on scholarship and needed to catch up along with other unusual students.
Knowing that she would be busy with studies made me feel relieved.. I had work to do too. The people were still missing, and someone attacked Sky behind the barrier. I couldn’t leave it this way. Not to mention that the two things could be connected.
What if Sky saw something that she was not supposed to? That cave did sound like something worth investigating.
