CHAPTER 20 Sleeping beside Devon proved to be the most refreshing thing I had ever done in my life. Calmness reverberated between us and I felt myself relax against Devon’s warm embrace. Dressed in his shirt and sleeping with my head on his chest with our feet entangled was the best feeling in the world at the moment. No talking, just us reveling in each other’s company. It felt so perfect.   “Sweet dreams Vivian,” he whispered placing a kiss on my hair.   “Goodnight too Devon,” I whispered back, too tired to fight off the sleepiness.   I snuggled deeper as the first ounce of sleep hit me and I swear I must have slept like a baby.
