Going back to school the next morning feels like stepping into a place I almost died in, and I can feel the weight of eyes on me the second I walk through the front doors even though no one actually says anything. That is what makes it strange. No snickers. No whispers loud enough for me to hear. No one bumping into my shoulder on purpose. They just stare.
