Declan stays guard outside my trailer that night just in case Christopher came back to cause trouble.
I didn’t think he would, not after Ezra’s reaction but they weren’t taking any chances.
I was trying to sleep on the couch that night when I heard a lot of noise coming from outside.
I walked to the door and opened it to see Declan standing there, completely on guard, mind linking someone else.
“Go back inside.” Declan demanded.
“What’s going on?” I asked.
“Please? I don’t know exactly what’s going on. But Ezra has ordered you back into the trailer.” He said.
“Don’t order me to do shit.” I snapped.
“Please? Can you just go back inside? Everything will be explained when I know what’s going on.” He said, so I reluctantly went back into the trailer and I closed the door.
