Tanner carefully watched through the parking lot.
After hearing through all the chaos that ensued in the media, he knew that Chasen would be quick to address things to Vien. He had known the man well enough, and a situation like this doesn’t really faze him—yet when he had missed schools, Tanner was perfectly informed how Chasen treasured this woman.
While he was glad about that, fear seemed to settled denser than any positive emotion.
