“Isn’t that too mean?”
All had whipped their attention on me, as if I had sputtered something that was nonsense. Their expression made it look like I had grown two heads. From what it looked like to me, the woman was genuinely feeling lonely. Nothing from her words speaks as if she wanted to cause harm. I have been in a situation where I didn’t have any friends to linger around. The whole ordeal breaks someone who had been friendly back then. Deux is someone who has a several people following her around, a loved personality.
Because of the rules in the school, no one in this place would do that here.
