My heart was beating so fast I could hear it in my ears, I thought I was dying. Did I shoot him or me? Why the hell did he jump on me? Why would he do that if he knew his gun was loaded?
Quickly, Klent was by my side lifting him up from me.
"Did she shoot him?" Zoe's mother asked in a trembling voice, "I told you this was a bad idea..."
Klent sighed, "No... But the wall got the bullet."
That's when I followed his eyes and saw a bullet hole by the wall. I sighed in relief, I didn't know if I'd be able to live with the guilt of killing my brother. As much as he would deserve it, I'd rather it doesn't become me who pulls the trigger.
I got up pretty nicely and Zoe helped me, "Hey... Are you okay.. God that scared me."
"Me too... This was going according to plan until that happened."
