When all the meetings were over, I just wanted to go home to relax with my mate, but walking into our home, I knew it was going to be another long night. Kailen and Zach were buried deep in more files and records, and I let out a sigh.
“Baby, how was your day?” Kailen greeted me. I walked over to her, leaning down, I gave her a kiss.
“It was long. Can Zach go home now?” I asked her, and Zach chuckled.
“First, don’t you want to know what we found?” Zach said, and I grumbled.
“Fine, let’s hear it.” I said, sitting beside Kailen on the couch. Zach was sitting in the chair.
“We believe that the payment Andrew sent to the Dark Shadow pack was blackmail money.” Kailen told me.
“But why?” I asked her.
“I’m not sure. But if he was buying girls, where are they?” She ask
