It terrified me that someone was in our room last night. I believed that having all the warriors here would help me feel safe, but I was wrong. I let my guard down and now I’m trying to figure out a way to protect myself and my family.
I know Hunter is worried about me and our pup, but if anything were to happen to him, I would finally break. He is my safety, my home, and I would be empty without him. Even with our child, I don’t think I could ever live without him.
A knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. Hunter asked me to call Dr. Connors. He just wanted to make sure everything was okay with the baby, as this has put me under a lot of stress. Aurora said our baby is good, growing and healthy, but I think he just needs reassurance right now.
