Gamma Kailen Steele The first night Hunter was gone, I got little sleep. And the morning sickness started the next morning. I awoke early this morning, rushing to the bathroom to empty the contents of my stomach. Not that there was much. Hunter wasn’t here with me, so it was hard for me to eat. I hated how much Hunter's not being here affected me. I’m such an independent person, but being pregnant, though early, was already taking its toll on me. When there was nothing left in my stomach and I had cleaned myself up, I left to find Caleb sitting on my bed, waiting for me. “You okay?” He asked, and I nodded. “Coffee?” He asked, standing up from the bed. “Can you please put the kettle on? I’ll make tea when I’m ready.” I asked him. He nodded and left my room, closing the door behind him.
