JASON’S POV — I’m forced to sit on the edge of the bath while she lays underneath the bubbles, the steam lingers in the air. “Do you like this colour?” She holds her hand out, and my eyes flick down to the ox blood colour polish on her nails. “It looks like blood,” I shrug, “I know,” she wiggles her shoulders in excitement. “But do you like it?” she batts her eyelashes at me.
