What happened today was just plain foul. Nobody was expecting dead bodies to fall from the sky right as dinner was about to start. I found it in me to push past the initial horror, at least, enough to help Chad get a handle on the situation. After we cleared the dining room, Lexie, Maverick, J, and I were waiting for Chad and Lanie in the recreation area on the first floor of the packhouse. Most of the pack members had gone to their respective homes either due to loss of appetite or to make their own dinner where corpses weren’t being served.
