~ Savannah’s POV ~
We continue to play until the dawn is breaking and the sky is turning a hint of blue and orange. Blaze, Rayn, and I are now lying on the grass on top of each other, enjoying the warmth and comfort of our togetherness. We didn’t say anything for a while. We just lay in silence, enjoying the warm breeze flowing through our furs.
As I look up at the sky that’s slowly changing, I decide to ask, “Hey… can I ask you two something?”
“Anything,” they both say in unison.
“Why don’t you like Carter?” I blurt out.
It’s not that I’ve been thinking about Carter this whole time, but I’m really curious. What was with all that animosity? And moreover… what happens if Carter is also my mate?
