“It’s Carter Hanson,” Beta Jon says tensely.
I know I’m not in the room with them, I’m only looking at everything from the hidden camera, but still. The tenseness is no joke. We all hear this and we’re holding our breaths even more. I mean, talk about timing!
“He said it’s urgent,” Beta Jon continues. “It’s about Savannah,”
Dad pauses for a beat and finally nods. “Alright,” he says. “Send him in,”
Beta Jon steps aside and moments later, Carter comes through the door. Behind him are his two brothers, Aidan and Brett.
“William,” he greets my dad by his first name. “I’m so sorry for barging in like this. But I’m afraid I have some bad news,”
