“I’m sorry to interrupt, Alpha William,” Beta Jon says in a very serious manner. “But, we have a rather unexpected guest…”
“Is it Logan?” I blurt out, unable to control myself.
Beta Jon shakes his head and says, “It’s Carter from the Black Onyx Pack,”
Carter?!
I look over at dad and he looks just as shocked as I am.
“Did he say why he’s here?” Dad asks.
“He says it’s a rather pressing matter and he’d rather talk to you directly,” Beta Jon replies, and he glances over at me. “And to Miss Savannah too,”

“What is this about?” I ask in confusion.
