As per tradition, every year on Thanksgiving, we have dinner at my dad’s with Beta Jon, Lilian, Juju, and Lexy. And like always, we’d go around the dinner table saying three things that we’re grateful for this year.
“This year, I’m grateful for… the chance to go to college… I’m grateful for my friends… and I’m grateful for this beautiful turkey,” I say excitedly as I’ve been eyeing that turkey all night long.
“Ehem,” My dad clears his throat, sending me a look.
“Oh, and I’m thankful for our Pack’s advancement and success, of course,” I add quickly, grinning at him. “Can we eat now, please?”
