I stood and waited for him to reach where I was.
“Good evening”. He said to me as he immediately hugged me when he reached the place i am standing.
“Evening”. I replied as I hugged him back, inhaling his scent. He smelled divinely. like the scent of the fresh trees in the forest mixed with a masculine touch.
“You did great out there! Congratulations to you, the official member of The Sky Blue Pack”. Xavier smiled as he let go of me.
“Thank you”. I responded and we both fell silent.
“So…” we both started to say at the same time, causing us to laugh. I guess the pack’s trend is catching up with me now that I am an official member of the pack. It feels good to have a sense of belonging somewhere.
