  Liora’s POV   I barely said anything else to Houston after Rowan stormed out of the restaurant. Not because I didn’t have words, but because i was still shook by what had just happened. My fork sat untouched, the carefully plated meal going cold while Houston, ever tactful, didn’t press me. He chatted lightly, about the wine, about some minor deal his company was closing, but even that faded into silence when it became obvious I wasn’t listening. I tried to feel a bit bad for him but I just couldn't. Ever since Rowan, my interest in the dinner left with him as well.
