Liora’s POV
I was trying to work on some files when I suddenly heard a loud sound. The first crash startled me.
It echoed through the ceiling like thunder, sharp and sudden enough to make me look up from my screen. Then came another, louder, it sounded like glass exploding, and then something heavy slammed to the floor. For a moment, I just sat there frozen on the couch, the sound vibrating through the walls.
It was coming from, upstairs, the first thought that came to my mind was Rowan. He was the one living directly above my apartment, those sounds were coming from where he lived. Could something be wrong?
